Projects

Tennessee

In operation since 2003, WastAway’s plant at the company’s headquarters near McMinnville has served the needs of Warren County and regional commercial sources. The facility provides real time research and development opportunities for all phases of fuel and processing development.

Aruba

WastAway designed and installed a 150 ton-per-day fuel production facility on the island of Aruba in 2009. Operating successfully for three years, the plant was mothballed when local government was unable to proceed with part two of the project, a power generation plant.

Development

As industry and power production operators continue to search for ways to meet sustainability and environmental regulations, WastAway’s SE3™ solid fuel has come to the forefront of options. The 2019 EPA NHSM comfort letter brings new opportunities in:

  • Large Power Generation – Companies now combusting coal are seeking methods to lower GHG and carbon footprints.
  • Solid Fuel Boilers – Industrial steam and heat users are finding SE3™ a very safe and consistent high-BTU option for co-firing.
  • Distributed Power – Municipalities, institutions and military installations are seeking ways to create sustainable power and solve waste issues
